Breaking a Blog Post in Blogspot
Did you know that it is incredibly simple to break any post in a blogspot blog, any place that you want to?
Did you ever wonder how bloggers set up a post so that some of the text shows, but they you have to click "Read more" to continue? Any place you want, simply put in the line <!--more-->
The break and the link will show up when the blog is viewed.

If you go to Blogger settings and switch on the advanced editor there's an icon in the toolbar to insert a jump break.
I don't use it though. I don't think it's worth inconveniencing my readers just to get one more pageview.

John- I completely agree with you most of the time. I usually hate 'em. But I'm using it on my Short Story Reviews to keep a possible "spoiler" hidden.
Neat hint.
Hiding the spoiler is a good idea. I wouldn't mind them in that case.

Nice tip -- I had no idea Blogger made that so simple. I think it's an overused feature overall, but I can see how it might be useful, as in your short story spoilers example. Thanks!
