Thanks to UpFront News I learned of a free flash game that is way too addictive. It's called Marble Lines. As soon as it was said that this will appeal to lovers of Tetris I had to go check it out.
Too true! You try to clear the levels by shooting a colored marble at a line of marbles moving in a track. When three marbles of the same color are together they will disappear. If the marbles reach the drain hole before you clear them, you lose.
There are three tracks, and the levels rotate through these. Levels 1-3, 2-3, and 3-3 are much harder than the first two tracks in the levels. I've cleared 3-3 (the 9th screen) once, and then also 4-1, and 4-2, but 4-3 was impressively hard. Actually 3-3 is pretty tough. UpFront lists his(?) High Score as 64990 points and highest level 11 (4-2).
I've also now made it to 4-2, but a high score of only 54360. Gotta practice!
If you want yet another game to become addicted to, check it out.
