Is 125 Exchange Worth It?

125 Exchange claims to be a different kind of traffic generator. They don't promise lots of traffic, they propose that their service will deliver quality traffic that is targeted to your area of interest.

I've belonged to 125 Exchange since early February 2009, and I can't figure out if it has been a useful tool or not. They give you 5000 free impressions when you first join. But I can't figure out the system they use to give you impressions after that initial amount is used. As far as I can tell, my banner hasn't been shown on any other web site for days while they are getting an ad on my blog, My Quality Day, that is above the fold by requirement.

I'm open to hearing an explanation of their system that is understandable.

125 Exchange

web ad income today (3 blogs, 2 web sites):
Adsense $.53
Adgitize $.69
Project Wonderful $.01

I was using 125exchange. As far as I could tell I was not getting any traffic from them and could not find where, if at all, my banner was running. I check my stats on my aw-stats and there was not one single visit from 125exchange. I took the ad off.

In my opinion the various 125 exchanges are a waste of time. Most of them work on a ratio, for every 2 impressions you give, your ad is given 1 impression.

Assuming a good CTR of 0.33%, you'd have to have 600 visitors to get 1 visitor from the ad exchange.
